We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lacrosse Coach to lead our lacrosse program at Broward County Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive lacrosse program that aligns with the school's mission and values.

• Program Development: Develop and implement a lacrosse program that meets the needs of our students and aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to student-athletes to help them develop their lacrosse skills and achieve their full potential.
• Game Administration: Administer game details for home and away contests, including scheduling, transportation, and equipment management.
• Team Management: Assign assistant coaches' specific duties, ensure that all information and materials are conveyed to assistants, and maintain a positive and respectful team culture.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged in the lacrosse program.
• Equipment and Facilities: Maintain and order equipment and facilities for the lacrosse program, ensuring that they are safe and suitable for use.
• Recruitment and Selection: Recommend assistant coaches and letter winners to the school administration.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest lacrosse techniques, strategies, and skills, and apply this knowledge to improve the program.
• Safety and Risk Management: Ensure that the lacrosse program operates in a safe and responsible manner, with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring the well-being of students and staff.
• Compliance: Ensure that the lacrosse program complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and school policies.

• Qualifications: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Certification: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the sport of lacrosse and the ability to impart this knowledge to students.

The Lacrosse Coach will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing a high-quality lacrosse program for our students. The successful candidate will be required to work a standard school year schedule, with occasional evenings and weekends required for games and events.
