About the Role:

This full-time, exempt position is responsible for overseeing the Patient Safety Program and working closely with leadership to develop and implement quality and patient safety initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and implement patient safety initiatives, including designing and implementing systems to track and measure quality and patient safety metrics;">
  • Coordinate patient safety activities across the organization, including collaborating with departments to identify areas for improvement and developing strategies to mitigate risks;">
  • Mentor and train staff on safe practices, including developing educational materials and presenting training sessions;">
  • Implement changes to improve processes, including tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of changes;">
  • Act as a liaison between departments, including communicating patient safety concerns and progress toward goals;">
  • Analyze data related to incidents and make recommendations for improvement;">
  • Present data to committees and other groups, and participate in decision-making discussions to identify opportunities for process improvements;">
  • Collaborate with departments to assess risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate them;">
  • Develop training programs to educate staff on best practices;">
  • Review and evaluate current policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with industry best practices;">
  • Develop reports to communicate safety concerns and progress toward goals;">
  • Coordinate internal audits and support for compliance efforts;">
  • Participate in joint ventures and collaboratives focusing on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives;">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field;">
  • At least three years of experience in a patient safety or quality improvement role;">
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;">
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly;">
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;">
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally;">
  • Valid California driver's license (or willingness to obtain one).">

Benefits:

In addition to a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $110,000 per year, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Location:

This position is based in Sierra Vista and Templeton, CA, with the possibility of remote work arrangements.
