We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Singing River Health System Clinic - Hurley. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing the MS Nurse Practice Act and CDC Guidelines for Infection Control.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate from an approved school of practical nursing.
- Current Mississippi State licensure.
- LPN has Mississippi Board of Nursing licensure for practice in the expanded role.
- Must complete and maintain current BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
- Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days).
- Work is moderately active, involving sitting with frequent requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and to travel to another facility within the SRHS service area.
- Work involves exerting a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Work involves using many physical motions in performing daily work activities; subject to exposure of body fluids, sputum and tissues, which may carry the hazard of infectious disease.
- Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision making abilities.
- Must demonstrate superior communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone.
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
