Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan driver schedules in compliance with DOT hours of service regulations.
  • Communicate shipment details proactively to customers and Driver Managers.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, and any complaints.
  • Coordinate with customers to secure freight for both asset trucks and brokerage operations.
  • Input detailed orders into the system accurately.
  • Assist Rating Clerk with order ratings as needed.
  • Support Load Planners and Driver Managers by monitoring delivery statuses.
  • Identify freight opportunities for various territories and drivers.
  • Engage with potential customers to secure business for both asset and brokerage divisions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and broker relationships.
  • Conduct customer credit checks as necessary.
  • Input new customer or shipper/consignee information into the system as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Customer Service and Planning within the Transportation sector.
  • Ability to interpret operational and maintenance documents.
  • Proficient in calculating figures and amounts.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Consistent attendance and reliability.
  • Detail-oriented approach to tasks.
