Chief Operating Officer - Healthcare Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team and oversee the operational functions of our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, the COO will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational future of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's vision and goals.
  • Provide strategic operational input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Advise the CEO and other senior management on operational planning, resource allocation, and policy matters.
  • Drive operational transformation initiatives to enhance organizational performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Manage the processes for operational planning and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop policies and procedures to enhance operational excellence and overall service delivery.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable laws and regulations for operational activities.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and monitor and evaluate results.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing operational team.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
