We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Modeling Engineer to join our team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing predictive stress/strain models and providing concrete insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employ techniques and theories drawn from areas of computational mechanics, semiconductor science, materials science, and engineering to build predictive stress/strain models.
  • Collaborate extensively with PI, process, and packaging teams for Multiphysics and multiscale model development, deployment, and providing solutions to be implemented on Si.
  • Develop methods, processes, and systems to build predictive fracture mechanics models to generate useful insights and solutions.
  • Interact with process engineers and PI teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
  • Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and computational modeling tools.
  • Identifies significant insights from modeling and data; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to engineering teams and leaders.
Requirements
  • M.S., or PhD Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of proven industry experience.
  • Knowledge of memory device structures and processes.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale 3D stress, packaging, and global/local models.
  • Solid Python experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
