We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our nursing workforce by providing leadership in the development of staff education at the unit level.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Education Manager to identify educational goals and coordinate training processes for staff.
- Design and develop curricula, courses, and programs of study to meet the needs of our nursing staff.
- Teach and guide learners in both classroom and practice settings, incorporating principles of adult learning in planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs.
- Plan, prepare, and maintain materials for use in educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
- Assist with the orientation of new staff, including agency nurses, and develop education plans related to initial and ongoing competency validation.
- Develop and coordinate core education to address patient population-specific nursing care and content for learning opportunities based on evidence-based practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing with ICU in-patient nursing experience.
- Current registration with the Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.
- Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- PALS/NRP based on unit coverage (must obtain within 90 days of hire if required by unit).
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- A competitive hourly rate of $51.29.

Experience- 1 year of ICU experience.
