Job Title: Roadway Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Roadway Engineer to join our team in White Plains, NY or Stamford, CT offices. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in helping our local, municipal clients develop and design Complete Streets projects, sidewalks and bike lanes, linear roadway improvements, drainage improvements and other capital improvements projects to make our roadways safer and more efficient for all road users.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans for projects using engineering and design software.
  • Use record documents, reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess site characteristics and their impact on the planning and design of projects.
  • Design roadway and utility infrastructure, including roadway geometry, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and soil erosion and sediment control.
  • Coordinate with planners, engineers, environmental scientists, subconsultants, and other professionals.
  • Participate in professional organizations.
