Key Responsibilities

As the Housekeeping Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Core Duties
    • Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and staff through a hands-on approach.
    • Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
    • Conduct thorough inspections to maintain quality and attention to detail.
    • Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety measures.
    • Respect guest privacy and belongings with utmost integrity.
    • Manage supply purchases and vendor relationships.
    • Address guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
  2. Management Duties
    • Delegate tasks to staff and provide necessary training to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to share updates and address concerns.
    • Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and feedback is collected.
    • Monitor room readiness and prioritize tasks based on guest schedules.
    • Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate services.
    • Resolve complex issues as they arise.
  3. Supervisory Duties
    • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department.
    • Recruit, interview, and train new staff members.
    • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
    • Handle disciplinary actions in accordance with hotel policies.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this role include the ability to stand or move for extended periods, use hands for handling and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
