- Adhering to Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certification: Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology. Proficiency in sterilization techniques and operating room protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
