We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Urology team at Parkland Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing nurse procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Conduct interviews, take medical histories, administer medications, and provide education to patients as directed by physicians or non-physician providers.
- Triaging patients for a smooth and productive flow.
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage medical records, ensuring accurate and timely chart entries.
- Apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives to provide effective care.
- Develop and maintain human care relationships, understanding the impact of illness and hospitalization on patients and families.
- Manage self and resources effectively, acknowledging limits of experience and capability.
- Incorporate teaching in delivery of care, focusing on health promotion.
- Apply knowledge integration skills for patient populations served within the unit/area of hire.
- Provide administrative support for MD/NP and program, including scheduling tests and treatments, arranging referrals, and maintaining stock and medical equipment.
- Licensure by State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Current AHA or ARC BCLS.
- Experience in an MD office.
- Computer literate.
- Preferred: Six months' experience as an RN in Urology.
