About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Cardiac Rehab Dietitian Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide evidence-based nutrition care and support in cardiac rehabilitation settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients in specialty areas, including cardiac rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns on best practices in clinical nutrition and wellness.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory standards and industry developments through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, in states where required
- 2+ years of experience in area of specialty
- Specialty certification when applicable
