Your Contribution:

As a Lead Financial Strategist, you will be instrumental in delivering analytical and planning support to our restaurant and support office leaders. Your inquisitiveness and proficiency in data utilization, automation, and reporting (including dashboards) will be crucial in guiding business decisions and propelling the organization forward. You will have a voice in significant discussions and the chance to influence outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain financial planning models, scenario analyses, cash flow projections, and growth forecasts
  • Assist in managing capital investments and performing return on invested capital (ROIC) assessments
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) through scalable and repeatable dashboards
  • Create forecasting and planning tools for existing and new restaurants, as well as general and administrative departments
  • Monitor and report on financial and operational metrics and ratios
  • Conduct comparative performance analysis of restaurants
  • Draw insights and provide recommendations that yield results
  • Collaborate independently with business partners to align financial and operational analyses, challenging assumptions when necessary
  • Offer analysis and suggestions to operational leaders
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities within the business
  • Engage in ad hoc financial analyses and projects
  • Establish, measure, and maintain metrics to evaluate growth, profitability, expenses, efficiency, and productivity
  • Support operational and strategic initiatives across various business units

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analytics and business planning, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel modeling
