Job Title: Construction Materials Field Technician

Are you passionate about working outdoors and ensuring the quality of construction materials? We're seeking a skilled Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team at TTL Inc.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to perform routine field and laboratory tests and inspections to verify conformity with construction plans and specifications. As a Construction Materials Field Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring, observing, and sampling materials used in construction work, preparing daily reports and data sheets, and maintaining cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and observe materials used in construction work
  • Perform routine field and laboratory tests and inspections to verify conformity with construction plans and specifications
  • Prepare daily reports and data sheets
  • Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree with an emphasis in physical sciences and/or math preferred
  • Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing
  • Good driving record
  • Perform heavy lifting of 50 or more pounds
  • Work in outdoor (hot or cold) environments
