Role: Project Management Specialist

The Project Management Specialist collaborates closely with team members and IT leadership to evaluate data and trends, identifying the root causes of process inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement. This role is pivotal in supporting the execution of IT initiatives, which encompasses teamwork in planning, executing, and assessing IT projects. The specialist is tasked with establishing measurable project objectives and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and propose areas for process enhancement.
  • Work in partnership with IT leadership to optimize productivity and profitability.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to pinpoint growth opportunities and refine technological processes that facilitate this growth.
  • Enhance overall technology efficiency to improve service delivery to customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct assessments to determine training needs and identify skill gaps.
  • Engage with project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Organize and oversee schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate efforts within the team and with external consultants as necessary.
  • Track project progress towards established goals and document key decisions.
  • Analyze processes highlighted by senior management and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support process enhancements and manage requests for improvements.
  • Analyze extensive data sets to uncover trends, develop reports, and communicate findings to leadership as required.
  • Create project management timelines for tracking and monitoring objectives.
  • Maintain and oversee project plans, documenting actions and decisions.
  • Prepare necessary project materials and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Develop strategies to ensure effective and efficient project execution.
  • Assess project risks and challenges, providing solutions as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in information technology or project management is required.
