We are seeking a skilled Care Coordinator - Labor and Delivery to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process.

This role requires strong communication and adaptability skills, as well as two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience. The successful candidate will have a current RN license and BLS certification.

About this Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting women throughout their labor and delivery experience and ensuring the safe arrival of their babies into the world. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

You will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience. You will also collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.

The responsibilities of this role include providing childbirth assistance, such as vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, while adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures. You will also educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period, providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care instruction, and emotional support for the transition to parenthood.

Requirements

A current RN license, BLS certification, and two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience are required for this role. Strong communication and adaptability skills are also essential for success in this position.
