Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst – Partner Services plays a crucial role within Latham's Partner Services division.

This position involves close collaboration with Latham & Watkins' Global Tax Department, a team of skilled financial experts dedicated to supporting the firm's partners throughout their partnership journey. The role requires the application of analytical expertise and a solid understanding of business, economics, finance, and accounting to manage complex financial tasks.

This position is based in our Global Services Office.

Note: This role may offer a flexible work schedule, accommodating both hybrid and in-office work arrangements.


Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Developing tailored financial reports that detail partner compensation, tax obligations, and other deductions.
  • Aggregating data from multiple sources to create tools that effectively communicate essential information to partners.
  • Designing and producing financial reports that serve as templates for the Financial Senior Analyst and other team members.
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts and reserve estimates.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the information provided to partners at various career stages and implementing new reporting solutions.

Ideal Candidates Will:

  • Exhibit strong leadership capabilities, including organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Possess a solid understanding of tax regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage large, complex projects from initiation to completion.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant analytical experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
  • Ability to handle ad-hoc requests and projects in a dynamic setting.
