About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Brookdale Therapy Westlake Village. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their rehabilitation potential and identify their needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans of care, setting goals that align with the team plan of care.
  • Utilize equipment safely and properly, maintaining inspection, maintenance, and cleaning logs, and reporting any broken or faulty equipment.
  • Maintain equipment logs for required equipment in the outpatient clinic.
  • Follow medical regimens developed for patients, adhering to precautions such as THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.
  • Utilize safe treatment techniques, including transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin bath, cryotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.
  • Complete discharge summaries on each patient on their final visit to the outpatient PT clinic.

Requirements:

  • Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
