Alabama School Psychologist Position with Virtual Opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments for students to identify their needs and develop effective plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to support students' mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans that cater to students' unique needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure students' safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district policies.
Qualifications:
- A Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A valid Alabama School Psychologist license to practice in the state.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and students.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt to changing situations.
