About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients and guests at assigned sites. You will maintain a positive environment and experience for guests, while also gaining a broad and specialized knowledge of various posts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, providing for client property and personnel security and safety.
  • Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
  • Preserves orders and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site about personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Controls access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process.
  • Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
  • Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
  • Responds to fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
  • Prepares logs and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Must meet city/state requirements and/or certifications to perform guard duties.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have reliable means of communication.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
