We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on Oahu. This role involves performing essential maintenance, repairs, and installations related to our innovative air-to-water systems. Team members may be required to travel to various locations as needed. This position does not require night or weekend work.
Benefits: We offer a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, and all necessary tools. This is an hourly role with competitive compensation, health insurance for employees (with family plans available), and nine paid holidays. After a probationary period, you will start accruing vacation time at a rate of 80 hours per year and can enroll in our matching 401k plan.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive care of water systems.
- Assess the functionality of water system components following established troubleshooting protocols.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and input data into the Maintenance Data System.
- Inspect and service water systems and their components.
- Maintain accurate records of ongoing maintenance tasks in the turnover log.
- Adhere to all Maintenance Department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide suggestions for enhancing Maintenance Department operations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Chief Technical Officer.
- Repair and replace defective equipment, including UV lights and water filters.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret manuals and parts catalogs.
- Basic computer literacy is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with engineering and technology principles.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and thorough in work.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Responsive to both internal and external customer needs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
