Position Overview:
As a Pizza Kitchen Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient preparation and portioning of food items while adhering to food safety standards and recipe guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all ingredients are prepared and available for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of ingredients including meats, vegetables, and sauces for our pizza offerings.
  • Take full ownership of the quality of food products served.
  • Consistently follow our standard portion sizes, cooking techniques, and kitchen policies.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of food products at workstations to facilitate smooth service.
  • Portion food items according to established standards and recipes.
  • Keep your workstation clean and organized, including all cooking and refrigeration equipment.
  • Support the prep manager or shift manager with any tasks as needed.
  • Be ready to assist fellow cooks whenever necessary.
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate all food products.
  • Participate in food preparation during slower periods as required.
  • Attend all scheduled team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • Complete any tasks assigned by the General Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • No prior experience is required; however, one year of kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to reach, bend, and lift.
  • Ability to stand for long durations (up to 5 hours).
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times during a shift.
