Position Overview:
The Engineering Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning, organization, and execution of project front-end loading and design engineering. This includes the selection of options, development of project scope, management of change control, estimation of costs, oversight of cost control, and the creation and adherence to project schedules for all assigned initiatives.
The Engineering Project Coordinator is also tasked with providing essential technical support throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project, ensuring that installations are executed correctly.
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of industry engineering standards, practices, and procedures, particularly those relevant to the oil refining sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Applicants must be capable of obtaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Compliance Requirements:
In accordance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act, individuals requiring unescorted access to regulated facilities must possess a valid TWIC, issued following the guidelines established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
Selected candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to secure a TWIC card. For further details regarding the TWIC, please refer to the Transportation Security Administration's official website.
