Key Responsibilities- Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Discipline: Physician Assistant
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens
Compensation: $125 per hour
Coverage: Full-time coverage is required, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
On-call Duties: Beeper call during the night after daytime work, with weekend rounding responsibilities.
Call Frequency: 1:4, approximately one day per week and one weekend per month.
Skills Required: Proficiency in vein harvesting using Maquet equipment and open radial or harmonic scalpel techniques.
Patient Load: An average of 11 patients per shift.
EMR System: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days.
Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Oregon License
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery
- Board Certification is mandatory
- Full-time commitment is essential; no deviations from the schedule will be accommodated.
- Ability to provide at least two supervisory references.
