We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Rehabilitation LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and orthopedic injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient care considering the specific needs of geriatric and general inpatient rehabilitation patients.
- Assist with patient assessments and reassessments as per policy, identifying and initiating appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
- Carry out the plan of care as indicated by the patient's needs and response to treatment, updating the interdisciplinary care plan accordingly.
- Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in the formation of the plan of care.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
