At Jackson Contractor Group, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Civil Laborer/Pipelayer to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at building, highway, and heavy construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
  • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications.
  • Perform materials handling and storage.
  • Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools and distribute them to the appropriate locations per project plans and specifications.
  • Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Requirements:
  • Lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
  • Have excellent stamina.
