About the Role
D'Youville University is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in our dynamic School of Nursing. This tenure-earning role will involve teaching, service, and scholarly activity within our esteemed nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
Teach using various active learning strategies tailored to diverse student learning styles, including lectures, lab/clinical instruction, online, and hybrid formats.
Engage in scholarship as defined by the Boyer model, encompassing teaching, discovery, application, implementation, and engagement.
Participate in service activities that support D'Youville University, the nursing profession, and the community.

Requirements
Earned doctorate in nursing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or an appropriate accrediting body.
Unencumbered license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in New York, or eligibility for licensure in New York.
Demonstrated advanced practice experience is required for appointment to either undergraduate or graduate programs.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (2-3 years preferred).
Five years of academic experience in nursing in higher education, with a record of teaching, service, and research for Associate Professor rank.
Demonstrated beginning level of scholarly activity for Assistant Professor rank, with a strong level of scholarship for Associate Professor rank.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 annually, commensurate with education and qualifications.
