Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

At Horne Kia, we're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet service customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify and verify customer service needs.
  • Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding product requirements and associated service needs.
  • Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for recommended services, communicate with customers, and obtain proper authorization.
  • Check on service progress throughout the day, communicate with customers, and receive approval for any changes in cost estimates, promised delivery times, or recommended services.
  • Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by phone the day before the scheduled arrival and conduct post-repair follow-up.
  • Inspect vehicles prior to delivery to ensure services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate results with customers.
  • Meet state and federal law requirements for automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with our company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years of experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a good driving record.
  • Great attitude with high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
