BAS Healthcare is seeking a pediatrician to provide locum coverage in a critical access hospital in Oregon. The hospital offers a range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical services, and outpatient treatments.
Job Summary:We are looking for a pediatrician to cover a period of time from December 24th to January 3rd. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and emergency medications. The provider will be responsible for rounding daily, providing primary care for newborn and pediatric patients, and stabilizing and transferring patients as needed.
Responsibilities:- Provide locum coverage for pediatric patients in a critical access hospital
- Round daily to provide primary care for newborn and pediatric patients
- Stabilize and transfer patients as needed
- Be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and emergency medications
- Work independently with minimal backup coverage
- Meet the requirements for inpatient care as the attending physician
- Board certification in pediatrics
- Experience in providing inpatient care to at least 24 patients as the attending physician in the last 24 months
- Comfortable with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and emergency medications
- Ability to work independently with minimal backup coverage
