Position Overview:
The Licensed Pharmacist is responsible for a range of essential functions including the distribution of medications and providing guidance to patients. Acting as a medical authority, brand representative, patient supporter, and mentor to staff, the Pharmacist will also take on managerial responsibilities when the General Manager or other leadership is unavailable.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify exceptional service, commitment, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
- Offer patient consultations as required.
- Assist in ensuring that store operations and personnel adhere to state regulations.
- Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Guarantee the implementation and adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Fulfill Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as necessary, including overseeing store opening and closing procedures and supervising staff.
- Promote a workplace culture that aligns with Holistic Industries' mission to be the premier destination for employment, shopping, and investment in the cannabis sector.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned or requested by management.
- Complete the mandatory 4-hour Pharmacist certification mandated by the PA Department of Health, in addition to the PA Train dispensary employee certification.
- Verify Patient certifications through the Patient Portal during all dispensing activities while on duty, as required by the Department of Health.
- Occasionally assist with cash handling tasks, including preparing deposits, closing registers, and maintaining daily activity logs.
Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to obtain and maintain marijuana work credentials.
Education and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of PA.
- Must complete and maintain all state-mandated Pharmacist training and certifications.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Must be able to secure and uphold medical marijuana work credentials following a thorough fingerprint background check.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong adherence to compliance protocols.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in computer operations and point of sale systems.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, fostering productive working relationships.
