We are a comprehensive healthcare facility located north of Austin, Texas, featuring over 100 patient beds and providing services such as Level IV trauma care, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by performing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.

  • You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assess patient condition, identify potential problems, and provide timely interventions to prevent complications.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • BLS certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) OR Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
