Medical Imaging Specialist

Magnetic Resonance Technologists (MRTs) play a vital role in the medical imaging process. We are seeking an experienced MRT to join our team at a prominent healthcare facility in Bristol, Connecticut.
In this travel assignment, you will be responsible for operating sophisticated medical imaging equipment and providing high-quality patient care. Your attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and commitment to safety protocols are essential qualities for this position.
About the Role:
This is a 13-week contract with a competitive pay package, including a tax-free stipend. As an MRT, you will work closely with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that diagnostic images are captured accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and positioning patients for magnetic resonance imaging procedures
- Operating MRI machines to capture high-quality images
- Providing clear, concise information to patients and medical staff
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least two years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist within the last five years
