Job Summary

Our paid Internship Program is designed to provide practical, relevant experience in the field of study while welcoming you into our family by choice culture. As a Materials Intern, you will assist and support our Materials Team with essential projects, gaining invaluable experience for your future career.

Key projects and tasks include PRS Inventory, RCC Permits, and learning our point of sale, ticketing system, and clerk training. Majors applicable to this internship opportunity include Civil Engineering and other engineering majors.

Essential Functions
  1. Safety: Protect friends and family by following all safety guidelines across our different lines of business and corporate offices.
  2. Integrity: Execute work with honesty, a positive attitude, and a productive approach, where questions are welcomed.
  3. Dedication: Contribute professional work in a timely and organized manner as outlined in a syllabus, working with masters who continuously seek to be the best they can be.
  4. Efficiency: Collaboration and create value through employee engagement, sustainability, and stakeholder partnerships to deliver the best results.
Requirements, Education, and Experience

1. Excellent Attendance and Punctuality.

3. Strict adherence to all safety protocol, OSHA safety rules, and regulations procedures.

4. Current enrollment at an accredited college or university with a 3.0 or higher GPA.

5. Successful submission of our online application, including a cover letter or paragraph stating your major and what intrigues you about it, a resume including your LinkedIn profile, and one written recommendation from a current or previous employer, teacher, or professor.

6. Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

7. Legal right to work in the U.S.

Travel and Work Environment

Position may require up to 5% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the state of New York and New England based on the needs of the business.

Work environment is dependent upon internship placement and may operate in a professional office or physical work environment. The professional work environment is mostly sedentary, outside of travel.

Some internships may involve heavy work that includes heavy lifting, working near moving mechanical parts, and loud equipment, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
