Division of Medical Genetics Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join the Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
The Division of Medical Genetics is a major academic medical center with a strong research focus. The successful candidate will join a team of renowned researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to advancing the field of medical genetics. The position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
The Biochemical Genetics program includes a dedicated nurse clinical coordinator, nurse practitioner, metabolic dietitians, genetic counselor, and genetic counseling assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with these professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with genetic disorders.
Qualified candidates should possess a medical degree and license, board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics or equivalent. For positions that are 51% effort or more, the minimum base salary range is $104,800-$320,100. For positions that are 50% effort or less, the salary range is $74,800-$228,600.
