Job SummaryThe Operating Room Technician is responsible for preparing sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining a sterile field during case, and providing the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
- Maintain a sterile field during case
- Provide the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
