At St. Mary's General Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Tech to join our team in the Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Anesthesiologists and co-workers in providing continuous, quality patient care for patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia technology, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting. Certification is preferred, but not required. The Anesthesia Tech will be directly responsible to the Circulating RN, OR Charge Nurse, and the Director of Peri-Operative Services.

Responsibilities include adhering to regulations, standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Anesthesiologists and co-workers in providing continuous, quality patient care
  • Adhere to regulations, standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Anesthesia Tech training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
  • BLS certification upon hire and maintenance
  • Certification preferred
