About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Admissions Clinician to join our team at Arbour Hospital. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for patients
  • Coordinate the referral and intake process, ensuring seamless communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff
  • Verify and prior authorize insurance benefits as needed
  • Facilitate the admission process and maintain open communication with all stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • 1 year of prior psychiatric facility or crisis experience required
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred
