Heavy Equipment Specialist

As a Heavy Equipment Specialist at LKQ Corporation, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the operation. This includes unloading haulers and staging cars for the inventory department to process. You will also support the dismantling process by bringing unprocessed cars to the dismantle area and placing them back in the yard. Additionally, you will be responsible for crushing vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life.
Key Responsibilities
- Properly move vehicles through all phases of the operation
- Unload haulers and stage cars for inventory department to inventory
- Support dismantling by bringing unprocessed cars to dismantle and place vehicle back in the yard
- Crush vehicles that have reached their useful life
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
