We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the provision of pharmaceutical services, including dispensing, preparing, and distributing medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medication orders, and inventory levels.
- Identify and report hazardous environments or safety issues and medical errors to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other assigned tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy department.
- New Jersey registered or registration eligible.
- One year previous pharmacy experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Pharmacy technician training course or equivalent experience.
- PTCB certification.
Evening Shift, Full-Time schedule, 40 hours weekly.
