Job Overview:

The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management, and oversight of various small to medium-sized construction initiatives, or a single large-scale project. This role may involve supervising the daily operations of construction representatives and coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize with project contract documents and ensure effective coordination of all construction management activities.
  • Utilize critical path method (CPM) for scheduling and claims administration.
  • Interpret plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel.
  • Guide shop drawing professionals in developing project-related drawings and ensure dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Provide internal consultation to construction representatives and serve as a technical resource across functional groups.
  • Document deficiencies, anticipated cost overruns, and other construction-related issues or risks.
  • Prepare various reports, including monthly progress updates.
  • Maintain a daily log of construction activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and project managers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Review and comply with government or funding agency regulations to ensure legal adherence.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Employment Type: Regular

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be necessary, depending on specific responsibilities and project demands.
