Job Overview

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in our onsite and mobile Dental Clinic. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and review their medical and dental histories
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist or hygienist during procedures
  • Take X-rays and ensure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Dental Assisting School or 6 months of relevant experience
  • Current BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider certification, Blood Borne Pathogens training, and a valid Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Certificate
  • Familiarity with CDC sterilization standards, patient safety protocols, and OSHA and WISHA regulations
