Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified and seasoned Litigation Paralegal to enhance our dynamic legal team.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in corporate litigation, demonstrating a successful history in managing complaints, trial preparation, e-filing, discovery, pleadings, and document production requests.

This position demands a meticulous professional with outstanding legal research and writing capabilities, along with the proficiency to oversee intricate cases and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation cases from initiation to post-trial.
  • Conduct legal research, compile pertinent information, and organize evidence for attorneys.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other trial-related documents.
  • Coordinate the collection, examination, and production of documents while responding to discovery requests.
  • Manage and organize complex case files, ensuring deadlines and case schedules are tracked effectively.
  • Assist in trial preparation by creating trial exhibits, charts, and other visual aids.
  • Facilitate e-filing and service of pleadings and other court documents.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, and opposing counsel.
  • Provide litigation support during trials, including assistance with witness preparation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, ideally in corporate litigation.
  • Proficient in e-filing, discovery, pleadings, and document production requests.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong case management and project management skills.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Litigation Support software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with civil procedure and evidence rules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
