Teaching Position:

Rising Sun Montessori Preschool seeks an experienced Child Development Specialist to teach in our preschool program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children aged 2-5 years old.

This is a part-time position, working in one of our two classrooms: the Cub House (ages 2-3 years old) or the Learning Center (ages 3-5 years old). If you are passionate about child development and have experience in early childhood education, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of each child
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 2-5 years old
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
Compensation:

Estimated salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
