Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Dialysis Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that prioritizes patient care and well-being.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and their families on dialysis treatment options.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, including home hemodialysis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress, and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 12 months of RN experience.
  • At least 6 months of dialysis experience required.
  • Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in the state of residence.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous dialysis experience, including chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, peritoneal dialysis (PD), or home hemodialysis (HHD) nursing experience.
  • Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.
  • Previous case management experience.
  • Familiarity with, or excitement to learn about telehealth technologies.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN), Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
