Job Description

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled Mid-level Quality Engineer to support the F-15 program in Berkeley, MO.

This position will be responsible for ensuring first-time quality by working on Root Cause Corrective Action plans (RCCA/CAPA), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing quality interpretation of requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Provide quality interpretation of requirements and develop quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities and participate in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Perform analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness, provide material review dispositions for non-conformances, and analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances, perform benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved, and work under general direction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
  • 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001)).
  • 3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
  • 3+ years of experience quality assurance specifications and requirements.
  • Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CQA);(CQE); (CQT).
Working Conditions:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

(An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: USD 88,600
