KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and evaluate menus in preparation for meal services.
  • Prepare meals in compliance with relevant federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and our established protocols.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of meals to residents.
  • Assist in serving meals during dining experiences.
  • Process dietary changes and new dietary requirements as needed.
  • Complete necessary documentation to facilitate smooth operations within the dietary department.
  • Collaborate with staff and nursing personnel to enhance the dining experience for residents.
  • Assist in the inventory management and storage of incoming food supplies, ensuring accuracy and organization in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Fulfill assigned cleaning responsibilities in line with established protocols.
  • Report any allegations of abuse or neglect to the appropriate organizational leadership.
  • Notify management of hazardous incidents, including injuries and equipment issues.
  • Implement disaster plans in case of emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain certification.
