Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Information Security Engineer to provide technical support for our Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application security, Agile methodologies, and Atlassian products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on technical support for Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platform
  • Drive vendor accountability to address product defects
  • Support patching, upgrade testing
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members, and offshore partners
  • Ensure documentation is current and reflects process changes
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of application security experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile and Atlassian products such as Jira/Confluence or equivalent
  • Good understanding of OWASP top 10
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Checkmarx/Checkmarx One (not just running scans, but writing custom queries, tuning false positives, leading engine pack/major version upgrades/deployments)
  • Solid Application Security experience - either engineering or DevSecOps
  • Solid understanding of OWASP top 10
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Agile/Jira experience
  • Ability to drive vendor accountability and address product defects
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical integration issues
Optional Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of cloud experience
  • 3+ years of scripting experience – Python
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
