Tennessee Tech University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as developing an externally funded research program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental engineering and related fields.
- Establish and maintain an externally funded research program, with a focus on climate change impacts, air quality, water quality, and environmental process modeling.
- Provide service to the department, university, and profession through participation in senior design courses, committee work, and other activities.
- Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in environmental engineering, and participate in curriculum development and review.
- Engage in interdisciplinary research activities and collaborations with other departments and institutions.
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field by the start date of employment.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
