Key Responsibilities
  • Execute repairs as outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership protocols.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required.
  • Provide time estimates for any further repairs needed.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
  • Ford Certification is preferred.
  • A and B level qualifications, including expertise in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern vehicle technologies.
  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit in a team setting.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Enjoyment of a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and service protocols.
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license for the state of residence.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
