Position Overview:
Our Cleveland office is excited to present an opportunity for a Financial Analyst who is eager to leverage their expertise within a fast-paced and dynamic financial team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in data modeling and ad hoc reporting. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with attorneys and practice groups to develop, automate, and implement financial reports, budgets, and forecasts within one of the nation's most rapidly growing law firms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and visual representations for firm management.
2. Conduct benchmarking surveys to evaluate performance against peer firms.
3. Analyze and comprehend business requirements to create supporting reports.
4. Utilize business intelligence tools to generate interactive reports.
5. Serve as a key resource for practice group leaders, department heads, and senior staff regarding their reporting needs.
6. Perform detailed analyses on reports to identify areas for enhancement.
7. Process, cleanse, and validate data for predictive analysis and data modeling.
8. Collaborate with various departments across the firm to assess business needs.
9. Identify and evaluate current performance and historical trends across all practice groups and departments.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or accounting
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in financial analysis, modeling, and financial statement preparation is preferred
- The ability to prioritize tasks and perform under tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
